Biography

Toby Jaguar Algya is a composer and sound designer with a B.A. degree in music technology from UCSD (ICAM Music). Toby is currently a MFA candidate for sound design in the UCSD Theatre and Dance Department. Past UCSD productions for composition and sound design include: Bureau of Missing Persons, The Physicists, Medea, The Near East, The Love of the Nightingale, Catching Flight, Gum, and The Bus Stop. GUM was shown at the 2007 Prague Quadrennial in the USA Student Exhibit for sound design, and Le Jaguar was honored with a PATTE award for his work on Medea.
