Fallow is the story of the racial, colloaged fabric of American society. Aaron, an affluent drop out from Cornell University, sets out on an adventure across the united states that lands him a job as a bee keeper traveling with migrant workers picking fruit across the country. Aaron travels from the east coast to California on the path of the migrant worker, Ultimately Aaron is mistaken for a mexican migrant worker, and killed in a hate crime. The story unfolds as Aaron's mother, Elizabeth, retraces Aarons steps through the letters that he wrote on his journey. It is a story of self discovery and a sense of the foreign versus the natural.
