The play revolved around the two sisters exploring their developing sexuality inthe repression of a middle east state. The sound world traversed internal thought, quick transitions, and tragic consequences. Because the setting of theplay was ambiguous the choice of duduk, violin, and hand percussion was utilizedto create an exotic world that could emote the feelings of the characters and change without anticipation. At the request of the director, loud drum rhythms were played during the many transitions throughout the play contrasting the lushmelodic material of the scenes. Complete with Britney Spears, audiences enjoyed the tragic arch of this energized melodrama.
